"Ante Up" is a story about a notorious teller of tall tales, Frank, who discovers a magical light switch in his new house that he believes controls the sex drive of his virgin girlfriend, Julie. He must now prove to his friends he's telling the truth without losing his girlfriend of three years in the process.
"Ante Up" is an independent feature comedy that's along the lines of an American Pie meets Mel Brooks type of movie. It was written, directed and fully funded by Jonathan Salemi through the efforts of harrassing his parents for money, selling his car, and claiming residence on his friends' couches. The movie was shot on Kodak film, and features a great cast as well as a talented and hard working crew.
