About Me

Born in the ghetto of Kingston, Jamaica, Nite Paul started his musical career at age 15. He formed a singing group called the Flaming fonics. The group toured the island and became well known. One of there most memorable performances was at the Clancy Eccles Christmas morning concert at the Carib Theater. Paul left the group after three years to join another group called Rags And Riche. The group performed on many occasions at the Bohemia Night Club in Kingston and many more gigs all over the island.Paul decided to embark on his solo career after about two years with the group. By 1979, Paul did a cover tune produced by Barry York Venus that did well in Europe. After much success on his first recording, Paul went to record for several producers. One such producer is Roy Frances, the CEO of Mixing Lab Studios. songs like: Changing Times, Shabby Shack, on the Phase One label, just to mention the two most popular hits.Night Paul migrated to the United States in 1983 with the intention of taking his music career to another level. Paul did shows at the Barclays Athletic Club in the Bronx. Being in the United States and raising a famil, Paul had to take a break form the music business for a number of years.It wasn’t until 2003 Paul got back in the business. Nite Paul recorded and released a number of tracks, which will be on his next album. The album is expected to be released in the near feature.
