Undergraduate studies and master's degree in composition at the University of Texas in El Paso.
Currently working on his doctoral thesis at the Escuela Nacional de Musica with Julio Estrada as his principal tutor.
Teaches at the Chihuahua Conservatory of Music.
Lives in Chihuahua with his wife Karla and their sons Daniel, Gabriel and David.
