I’m a geek with a big heart. I believe there are few character traits more admirable than honor, charity, and kindness. I feel I’ve been blessed far beyond what I deserve in this life. I have a great job, a family that cares for me, and the love of the best man I know in whose arms I have discovered the meaning of home. The place I stand today is not where I saw myself ten years ago, but I wouldn’t change a single thing. Every path I’ve walked in life has led me to this place, where in all truth I can say I am truly happy. If I could add anything to my life, it would be a greater drive to reach out to the people around me. There are so many sad and broken people in this world, and I’d like nothing better than to bring a little sunshine into their lives. I think I’d be quite happy if I could pass from this world knowing that I’d touched the lives of just a few people, that I’d changed things for them. Made them look at life and other people a little differently, with more hopeful eyes.
