About Me

I live and work in London. I have been an antique restorer, paste-up artist (that shows my age) art director, and copywriter. Least successful escapades: running a jingle company, making jewellery, painting furniture.
Probably, I write as an antidote to the day job. Worst client ever: the company that sold catheter gel and wanted to advertise it ‘like Coca-Cola’.
I started writing in 2003. Not sure what sparked it off. I’ve had work published in Acumen, Smiths Knoll, Iota, and Aesthetica in the UK. I have one half-finished novel. (Hasn’t everyone?)
I have a collection coming out in October, called Test Paper, published by Templar Poetry.
I’m learning more and more about poetry all the time, which only increases my ability to cringe at the stuff I’ve previously written.
