Based out of Brooklyn, The Courtesy Tier's founding members, Omer Leibovitz and Layton Weedeman began writing music together in 2001. They met in Boston and after playing with various musicians, they decided to move to New York.
The two can be found playing venues such as The Knitting Factory, Southpaw, and Bar Matchless, assaulting the ears of fans around the city. Currently the band is in the studio and will be releasing new material soon.
