Born in 1958, I'm a guitarist (and a writer) from Ealing, west London, currently playing in 'THE BUICK HILL BAND', a high octane blues and rock 'n' roll band (see my friends for link). I learnt to play the blues by nicking my mate's brothers 'Bluesbreakers' albums (Clapton, Green, Mick Taylor), then got a bit of an obsession with rock and roll and jump blues, moving through T-bone Walker, Eddie Cochran, and my favourite player of all, Cliff Gallup. After bits and pieces of r'n'b in my youth I dabbled with pop in 'Wireless Fun', then with 'Bedouin Fever' (The Beds) - who you may have seen on MTV, if you were paying attention in the early nineties.I then fiddled around with country for a few years, and recorded a little bluegrass ep with one of the best fiddle players, and nicest blokes (Simon Cohen) you are ever likely to meet.I'm now enjoying myself more than ever - thanks to the great players in The Buick Hill Band - Paul Atkinson(drums), Charlie Mc Cracken (bass), 'Reckless Reg' McGuinness (harp) and my good mate Bron buick (Vocals/guitar) - and thanks to a return to playing the rockabilly I've always loved.Messing aroundRock 'N' Roll Music
