The Guitar Academy at Round Top offers one week of intensive training for young talented guitarists (18 years of age and over) under the tutelage of distinguished international faculty. Daily classes focus on issues of technique, interpretation, music theory and score analysis, problem solving, sight-reading, improvisation and ensemble playing and performance. The format of each day is a mixture of group activity, master class and ensemble rehearsal with a group performance at the end of the week. Solo performances will be scheduled every night.The International Festival-Institute offers to invited participants a full scholarship for tuition through the James Dick Foundation for the Performing Arts.http://festivalhill.org
