Law Abiding Citizens (LAC) are a 5 piece, modern indie, British rock n’ roll band from London that have a no nonsense approach.The nucleus of the band revolves around two brothers (we’ve heard this somewhere before!) Mike and Simon.From an early age they loved playing guitar and writing tunes.They didn’t take it serious until they heard Oasis (on the ‘THE WORD in 1994). From that day on the dream was made. They connected with the working class attitude and swaggering style.Mike was previously in the Young Offenders Institute, based in Manchester (signed to Factory Records) and enjoyed success, most noticeable the band supporting the Happy Mondays at the MEN ARENA,But like his heroes he decided to start a band with his brother, and stamp his own musical style on the songs
Once Martin (Drums) and Dudley (Bass) joined in early 2008, it was only a matter of weeks until the first gig at the Temple Bar in Oxford (the smallest gig the band had ever played!). They have since gone onto play shows with: Bonehead (ex-oasis) Bez (Happy Mondays) and played a TV appearance on SKY channel 195They were also chosen by Carlton Leach to play at the Premier of international box office hit
: ‘RISE OF THE FOOT SOLIDER’Mike and Simon co wrote most of the songs – asked about it, Mike said simply ‘music is our life, it’s our escape from reality and could well be our escape from a life on the dole. I want to buy a big house in the country and retire after numerous spells in the priory’LAC are currently in the studio recording a debut single and album, but it’s LIVE that LAC really excel.
