About Me

A great encounter between old school hip-hop and the traditionnal southern french music (from occitanie) with additionnals humourous electro-sounds.During centuries, occitan music was like a street music, as hip-hop was since the begining. Nowadays hip-hop symbolises urban music while occitan music represents the southern french country music. The suburb - the village, towers - trees; two worlds throwing their music into their streets.Trad-hop music make all these streets meet each other for people to exchange sensibilities, arts and culture.Melodies, structures and bpm of the originals versions have been fully respected so that traditionnals occitans dancers don’t loose their legs on it ! Some of them told us that these beats help themselves to execute their own steps. Break dancers don’t need to say that ! They all know these beats. Perhaps these two kinds of dancers could work together and create a new form. There will be the next story. » Jaqueish Roth
