I enjoy simple pleasures. Not driven by mass consumerism or greed. Give me a beer, a sandwich, a good record and I am a happy guy! My life is entirely consumed by music, with a little time left over for beer drinking. I am in love with the drums, a slave to the rhythm!! I play whenever I can, with whoever I can. The style doesn't so much matter as long as the heart is there. I don't drive, I loathe the idea of doing so. I do not own a car. I love to cook, give me a recipe or idea and I will run with it. Lately I have been working on various vegetarian dishes, as my girlfriend does not consume "meat pieces". However I enjoy a good steak and cheese sub whenever I can. I love horror films, mostly of the "zombie" denomination. Any zombie movie is good by me. I have a very unhealthy obsession with Pabst Blue Ribbon. I drink a lot of it. Its also good by me. I believe we are a doomed species unless we can learn to get along with one another much better than we currently do. I make a habit of avoiding awful, negative people and just do my best to get from point a to b while stepping on as few toes as possible. I believe that common courtesy and a smile every now and again will get you further in life than being a complete asshole. I hold doors open for old ladies and always say please and thank you. I am not afraid of a good cry.

Swine flu. Fraud? Or economic stimulus package?

I have my suspicions about this whole swine flu "outbreak" that has everyone in the country with their panties all in a bunch.  Maybe I've missed something, but this is how I see it.   I read the news...

Random, Yet Obvious observations

*New England weather is fucking hateful. Dangling that fifty degree, snow eviscerating weather over a weekend like a carrot on a stick only to pound us with another storm on Monday. Thats really no...

Like a song you hear at the grocery store

The most obvious downside to the new job has got to be the "muzak", as it is most commonly referred to. It is the shit I tried to put behind me oh so many years ago when I walked out of my last groce...

Runnin' down a nightmare...

Seeing ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead last night was nothing short of awe inspiring. It was a pair of songs in particular that caught me and dragged me back in time to strange days that...

Laugh and laugh and fall apart...

So I've got some sort of employment as of right now. Problem with that is that it is only part time, and the pay is absolute shit. It's really just a tease for the most part. Its like a woman offer...

What the fuck???

Wow... Kind of creepy and alluring all at the same time.... At first I thought it was a woman singing. But the hairy chest sort of cleared that up for me.

Five in the morning and I don't care... (unemployment files (pt 2))

It's been a nasty few weeks for me. It's odd really to think about all of the things that have occurred since the dawn of the new year. As the close of the previous year came in to view, so many th...

The Unemployment files (pt 1)

While haphazardly flipping through you tube today I stumbled upon this video of a song that was on the tail end of a sound track that was given to me by a young lady who eventually smashed my heart in...
