Band Members:A while back there was a sign….. Far out in East Texas a baby boy was born. His cry was a signal to those who would be impacted in the future. On January 5, 1984 “LOGAN†Carl Houston came into this world as innocent as any child. Music took hold in his life as soon as sound could find him. Every part of his life has always been magnified by the endless depth of emotion that music brings out of us all. As a child, his greatest joy was dancing in front of the mirror singing songs from Michael Jackson and some of Motown’s greatest artist‘s. Individually, his personality was unlike any other young boy. His interests were more mature and his perspective was advanced. In effect he turned to the one and only thing that he always understood and trusted….Music. As a choir stand out soloist and ensemble member throughout his High school career, he began training classically in voice as well as music theory at Texas State University. Putting all his time and energy into studying the blueprints of music to further develop the emotional connection he’d carried with him his entire life. What does he have to say….. Though still in his youth , life has thrown its fair share at him. Love, hate, betrayal, heart break, joy and pain are just a few subjects that he’s had first hand experience with. Through his superb writing ability, he intrigues the conveying stories of the past, present, and future in ways you’ve never imagined. With his smooth soul drenched vocal ballads and thick harmonies, his sound overwhelms you and leaves the listener yearning for more. Logan’s versatility branches as a vocalist, songwriter and arranger as well as a noted dancer with a style all his own. A respected genuine performer with the personality and showmanship that you look for in a multi-platinum artist. His performance driven style is influenced from the stage’s best such as Michael Jackson, Prince, James Brown, and Usher with vocal inspiration from The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Donnie Hathaway, Boys II Men, and Dru Hill.
