About Me

Good grief Charlie Brown! I just love these little oppurtunities to try and divuldge the intamacies of who I am, what I am, and where I'm ticking from. Seems that this space of bloggerism has a little less meaning then other "about me" sections, but I find myself oddly drawn to actually making this one less then sub-me. First conclusion to drag on about: I like myself, I'm a great person and dang it, people like me. Well to some extent. Me as a persona is not one you'd ever find in one of those teen movies. I think my persona would best be depicted in some remake of Henry James where the characters have old world charm but have these Victorian ivy-covered walls around them to keep the cruel world out. Unforunately my walls are merely made of toothpicks surrounding my little private universe. Jump on over if you'd like; take a deeper look and you might see part of you being reflected. "To Infinity and BEYOND."
Everyone needs a little Muse in their life:

My Interests

The list is ever changing, evolving, and dropping. Lasting interests include piano (my love, my life); cullinary preperations; any sort of toy with the words "For ages 4 and up" which includes Mr. Potato Head, Lincoln logs, and Legoes; anything in the medical field; music and i can't emphasis this one enough; tobecontinued;

I'd like to meet:

Firstly, my Grandfather Hepburn; secondly, John Hancock (what a great signature); thirdly, di Vinci. Last: Moses, I mean, why not? Dude had some great party tricks.

Music:

Muse, definitely the Muse, The Killers, Ben Folds, The Postal Service, HelloGoodbye, Frank Zappa, Motion City Soundtrack, Lovin' the oldies: Sea Level, Billy Cobham, The Mahivishnu Orchestra, Pink Floyd; Thanks to my musical consultants Jeff and Mauldin. I appreciate all types of music, none has made me throw up yet so it's all good. Also, can't forget my roots: Classical, Chopin, Liszt, Mozart, Beethoven. Love it.

Movies:

You name it....all except horror movies, I just don't get the point of them. Plus, I had a bad experience at a haunted house when I was younger, so I don't like subjecting myself to getting scared.

Television:

My three favorite channels: Discovery, TLC, and the Food network. Nothing more to say. For some odd reason, I like watching all the ghetto shows like Flavor of Love and I Love New York. Makes me feel normal watching those.

Books:

"The Sound and the Fury" --Faulkner, I actually read and understand and even like it. "Artifical Paradises" --Baudelaire, Wonderful French poetry and prose (not your romantic stuff you're thinking of) "The Giver" --Lowry, just a great conceptual book. "Candide" --Voltaire, and who knew that the French were funny?

Heroes:

JNW; Lewis and Clark; Dick Winters and the whole 506 Easy Company ; Martin Luther King Jr.; Both of my Grandfathers; Jory; EHW;

The day is mine Trebeck

Well, one could always hope that Trebeck concedes the day, but in reality I would assume that he is a power hungry pseudo-communist. Being sleep deprived certainly does invoke a sense that the world a...
