Born into a regal and well to do lower-middle class family, Peter Evans had all the amenities any child could have ever imagined. His days as a kid were spent brainstorming schematics for his G.I. Joes and Ninja Turtles, reading Choose-Your-Own-Adventure novels, Gary Larson illustrated laughing squares, and racing the other neighborhood hooligans on his Huffy Thunder Pro BMX. Meals were always served on time and the menu included the usual Kraft cheese & macaroni, Shake and Bake, PB&J, rhubarb pie, rich chocolaty Ovaltine and Tang.
At a young age Peter found great interest in his father's old classic rock record collection. It wouldn't be till his mid-teens in which that interest found him purchasing his first set of Numark TT1910s and a Gemini 626 mixer. 10 years later Peter is still behind the decks and always bringing a certain deep groove to all of his sets. He has had the opportunity to play with an immeasurable amount of awesomenimity at these local/world renown establishments: Aristocrats, Baltic Room, CHAC (Lower Level), Chapel, Chop Suey, Contour, Deep Down Lounge, Des Amis, Fuel, Karma Lounge, Merchants Cafe, Rebar, Satellite Lounge, SeeSound Lounge, Studio 7, The Boomdocks!, Trinity, and War Room.
His affiliation with the prestigious United House Front came to be after the crew drafted Peter in the 3rd round back in 2003. Although for a couple of years UHF seemed to be a bit on the quiet side, from January 2007 thru June of 2008 they hosted Electric Avenue every damn Friday at CHAC's Lower Level and made all kinds of ruckus. Within those 16 months acts such as Bird Peterson, Bryan Zentz, DeeKline, DJ Assault, Enduser, Jacob London, Justin Long, MSTRKFT, Ocelot, Still Rob G, Sunshine Jones and nearly every local talent you could think of helped to create some stupendous and groundbreaking memories.
When Peter isn't shaving acoustically for his 9 to 5 you can currently find him playing 4th Thursdays at Havana Cocktail Club with fellow UHF'ers Jizosh and Bo and at a new Tuesday Happy Hour titled Business as Usual, plus a new Sunday monthly titled Sunday Revival. Both located at Navya Lounge downtown.
