Our AIDS walk was a success! More than 7,000 people showed their support for the fight against HIV/AIDS at the 2008 AIDS Run & Walk Chicago in Grant Park on September 20.
Benefiting the AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC), and over 70 local AIDS organizations, this year’s event doubled its participation and is projected to net $400,000 for AIDS-related services.The Children's Place Association raised $17,395.00. Thank you for those who participated and donated to this particular organization. It could not happen without you.
