About Me
I'm an entrepreneur, musician, teacher and goofball... Life is great and it’s getting better everyday. I’ve made a habit of listing all the fun positive things that happen in my life to help manifest more of the same, so here’s the latest: My amazing girlfriend Melissa and I are running our own company helping homeowners out of foreclosure called A Resolution Inc. To run my own business and help those in need at the same time is a dream come true for me. I was voted "Teacher of the Year 2006" and promoted to Director of the Keyboard Institute of Technology (KIT) at Musicians Institute in Hollywood in 2007. It has been an amazing experience and I am so grateful for the teachers, students and coworkers that I'm fortunate to work with every day. With all of this going on, I still manage to perform live and in the studio. I played with The Jo Cuseo Blues Project live on 95.9 The Octopus- Ventura classic rock station. We also opened for the 80s group 'Berlin' at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills which was fun. I had a blast playing with Rick Latham and the Groove Doctors at the Baked Potato. I played in a Christmas benefit show with my friend Tommy Reeves at the Beverly Hilton and Kelsey Grammer joined the band to sing Winter Wonderland. I had an amazing time at my sister Claudia's wedding in Las Vegas with good family, good music and very little sleep. I called my Vegas buddies and we put the old band 'Planet Groove' back together to play the reception. Good times! I spent Christmas in FL with close family including my "little" sister Nicole who's about as ridiculous as I am (poor thing). I went to New York/Jersey to visit family and childhood friends whom I hadn't seen in years. I studied my ass off and got my CA Real Estate license last year. I was backstage for Ratdog at The Greek Theater and rode with my friend Beau and Bob Weir’s crew in a tour bus up to Bob’s new studio in San Francisco after the show. Melissa and I had an amazing date on the beach in Malibu until the cops asked us to leave. I was in 2 TV commercials for Brinks Home Security. I was on an episode of Hell's Kitchen. I appeared as a contestant on a game show called 'Celebrity Says' and was completely out of my element because not only do I not care about that stuff, but I don't even own a television. I was in the audience at The Price Is Right and Bob Barker spoke to me... that guy is great. I also indulge in the occasional Sake-bomb. I am so grateful that I get paid to play music and do all this other crazy shit in the beautiful Southern California sunshine. Why have a job when you can have a life?... and why have 2 when you can have 3?Right on...****For shits and giggles I will now name as many live shows I can think of that I've been fortunate enough to have seen over the years in no particular order: The Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Other Ones, Ratdog, The Allman Brothers, Greg Allman Band, Derek Trucks Band, Ray Charles, BB King, Buddy Guy, Dr. John, Stevie Wonder, Soulive, Gov't Mule, Charlie Hunter, CSN&Y, Roger Waters, Pink Floyd, The Who, Al Green, Herbie Hancock, Larry Carlton, Mike Stern, Pinetop Perkins, Christian McBride, Return To Forever, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, Solomon Burke, Eric Burdon & the Animals, Los Lobos, John Lee Hooker, Etta James, Monty Alexander, Joey DeFrancesco, Jimmy Smith, Blue Floyd, Steve Vai, Joshua Redman, Larry Goldings, Scofield, Dejohnette, George Carlin, Robben Ford, Keith Jarrett, The Meters, Neville Brothers, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, John Williams, Diana Krall, Willie Nelson, Bruce Hornsby, Dave Brubeck, Clark Terry, Christian McBride, Joshua Redman, Lionel Loueke, Yellowjackets, Phish, Jazz Is Dead, Oscar Peterson, Diana Reeves, Wayne Shorter, Robert Cray, Paul Rodgers, Maceo Parker, James Brown, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Tom Petty, Les Claypool, King Crimson, Jeff Beck, KC & the Sunshine Band, Ben Harper, Ziggy Marley, George Benson, Dave Matthews, George Clinton, Michael Brecker, Dave Holland, Yes, Brian Setzer Orchestra... wow so many more too... to be continued.
