I am here for Friends

About Me

I grew up in Greece, a suburb of Rochester, NY. About 10 years ago I moved to NH for college. I graduated from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH where I met my wife, Stephanie. I've been up here ever since.I currently work as a Field Service Tech, repairing computers and laptops and am working towards my network certifications. I've been employed as a Graphic Artist and Typesetter.

My Interests

Games, RPGs, Unicycling, Art & Design , Fixing/Breaking things, Bass Guitar, Dogs and Cats. I also have a thing for old, cheap cars.

I'd like to meet:

Contacts in the Graphic Design and Publishing scene.

Music:

Atmosphere, Rollins Band, Incubus, Soupbone Throne, MSI, Rush, Old blues, jazz, Super Junky Monkey, Dead Milkmen. I listen to news/talk on the radio.

Movies:

I prefer old movies over the stuff Hollywood churns out today. I've enjoyed too many films to list them. But you should watch the silent films of Buster Keaton. And there's a series of 9 short films called Dogville from the the early 1930's that are impressive, hilarious, stupid, and terrifying all at the same time. I've only seen one, but it was great. TCM plays them between features.

Television:

House

Books:

I tend to read more non-fiction than fiction books. I really enjoyed a book by David Whyte called "Crossing the Unkown Sea". I like the writings of Henry Rollins, and the short stories of Harlan Ellison. I also like the poetry of Bly, Edson, and Bukowski.

Heroes:

Saints and martyrs. People who make a difference in the life of another person and give them the resolve to grow and change are heroes.

New Kitten

Steph and I got a kitten yesterday. We found her on a mini-golf course, took het to a vet, and then brought her home. She's a bushy, sweet natured 4-week-old and we named her Rosie. Check my photo ...

Why are you asking me?

I went to a cafe today for lunch. There was only one other customer in the place and he finished his lunch and left while I enjoyed my sandwich. I brought a book with me and read for a few minutes as ...

I love Irony

I was taking a walk down the street today and I passed by a business with one of those signs with the letters that can be added and taken down to promote stuff. There was a young man with a pole, stru...
