About Me

The Utica Film Festival, held in the beautiful Mohawk Valley in Upstate, New York.
Bringing together the finest in student and independent filmmakers over two days in two seasons in a beautiful area just south of the Adirondacks in the Fall.
The festival will run October 20 at the New Uptown Theatre on Genesee Street in Utica, from Noon - 4 p.m. and then from 7:30 - 11 p.m. with a guest speaker tentatively slated for 6 - 7 p.m.
Tickets for the festival will be $10 for the afternoon showings, $10 for the evening showings and $5 for the guest speaker. An all-inclusive pass can be obtained for $20.
The current schedule of the Fall Film Festival is as follows:
An afternoon of Short Films:
Noon - Opening remarks
12:15 p.m. - "Breaking Up"
12:25 p.m. - "Red Tape"
1 p.m. - "Quiet Darkness"
2 p.m. - "Falling in Love"
2:10 p.m. - "Holy Moses"
An evening of Feature Films:
7:30 p.m. - "Anchor Eddy's"
9 p.m. - "Mr. Halloween"
A one-day Spring edition of the Festival will be held at a date to be announced in April 2008.
Entires for the Spring edition are now being accepted!
Films accepted in VHS, DVD, and 35mm formats.
