The Chemo Warrior Tribe came into existence in August 2006 when A.L.L Leukemia patient Scott Parker, friends, and family gathered for a candlelight prayer vigil for Scott who was undergoing chemo. Scott, always being fond of Native American Indians showed up to the vigil decked out in his "Warrior" attire and so the "Chemo Warrior" was born. Many of Scott's friends pulled together and held a benefit to raise money for the Parker Family. Warrior's come from tribes and tribes take care of their own so the Chemo Warrior Tribe was officially established. The Tribe can be found in and around the Baton Rouge area pitching in to help out other cancer patients and families in need.
