The Bobbin pub, situated at Cable Street, Lancaster (opposite Sainsburys), is a pub that has just had massive re-development bringing it into the 21st Century. In keeping with its days gone by, the pub still has a Musical theme appealing to the Rocker's, Metal Head's and Most Alternative Music Lover's. Claire the landlady, has continued 'The Bobbin' legacy making it 'THE' place to drink and 'Rock Out'. At the bar 'The Bobbin' can offer a fine selection of Cask Ales, Lager's from around the world, Cider's and your usual Spirit's and Wines along with the more executive choice of Tea and Coffee. 'The Bobbin' also has an excellent 'bottle bar' offering all your favourites, along with pub snacks.
By day 'The Bobbin' offers a relaxed friendly atmosphere, welcoming families with children. With a pool table, dart board, games machines and three "50 Widescreen TV's theirs plenty to keep you occupied on a rainy day.
By night the Bobbin is quite different to its daytime persona with 'Live Bands' every Thursday, 'Pub Quiz' every Tuesday and 'Rock Nights' every Monday, Friday and Saturday every night is different. When there are no live acts on Music is supplied via the Staff or Scuzz TV channel and the general theme of the music is Rock/Metal, though this is not the only music you’ll hear. The clientele is friendly and no matter what time of day you go in you will receive a warm welcome from staff and customers alike.
