I studied electroacoustic music for Rolf Enström, Lars-Gunnar Bodin, Pär Johansson, Jens Hedman, Mattias Sköld and Sten-Olof Hellström at EMS (Institute for Electroacoustic Music in Sweden) 2004-2007.
'Norberg Module Live' is an improvised piece, recorded live at Fylkingen, Stockholm in April -08. Unfortunately only the right channel was captured, and seeing as some of the parts were panned hard left, the recording doesn't really do the music justice. Still, I think it is good enough for MySpace.
'Those Who Use Art for Petty Propaganda – A Non-Figurative Reflection on Music and Political Activism' was my modest protest against a protest against the high levels of toxic particles on a particularly busy street in Stockholm. I decided to take part in the concert because I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone could hear the difference between instrumental music that is played as a protest against pollution of the air, and instrumental music that objects to the idea of using abstract art to convey a political message. As far as I could tell nobody in the audience (or among the other performers for that matter) could distinguish between anti-pollution noise and anti-anti-pollution noise.
'Something, Beyond Everything, That Words Cannot Describe' is my graduation piece from EMS, finished in May -07.
'Live at Norberg' was recorded at the Norberg Festival 2007. I had to split it in three parts due to the file size limit.
I am always open for collaborations with film makers, choreographers, performance artists etc, so if you feel that my music would suit your project, do not hesitate to contact me.
