The story:
Lee is a recent college graduate earning himself a BSED in Mathematics. Now that he has gone through the "conventional" steps towards his education, he has decided it is time to explore all of the opportunities life has for him. Soon to be moving into Center City Philadelphia, Lee hopes to break into the music scene and hit the ground running with his prospective music career as well as his photography. Lee will be setting himself up for a big push with recording his music throughout the summer months ready to perform and spread his music far and wide.
The History:
Born to Larry and Sue Ellen Schimmel, and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Lee grew up in a very diverse area, experiencing a wide variety of styles in music, fashion, and philosophy.
Lee taught himself piano at a young age using his eclectic taste in music as a guide for structure. In the latter years of high school, Lee took the dive into creative writing and performing, and only weeks before attending his first semester at West Chester University Lee purchased his first acoustic guitar.
His very first year molded his style in not only keys, but vocals and eventually the guitar. He met individuals such as Brian "Fitzy" Fitzgerald and Ted "Butch" Butcher who helped to push him to new levels of musicianshi, and before his first year away at school was over, he made the decision that he wanted to take his music much more seriously.
His second year at WCU he roomed with Nick Doak, member of the Bush Corner Band and a Guitar Performance major from whom he quickly focused on the different style and structure and integrated it further into his own style.
Now having the freedom to make new choices, Lee is determined to make time for the few passions he has these days: His Dreams of His Music and the Big City, and enjoying his life to the fullest
