Anchor Set

originated back in 1999, or maybe '98, by Craig and Matt. soon Keller was brought on and after many many drummers and a few singers Brian and Todd rounded out the lineup somewhere in 2001, i think. Keller had played with Brian in an earlier Boston band, the Doosies. Todd was a drunk who hung around the practice space. song titles were decided upon and this necessitated actual lyrics to be written and then sung, mostly by Todd but also by Keller. for the most part everyone milled about drinking beers but occasionally songs emerged and the obvious next step was to record them, for posterity of course. Jack Younger was the man for to make this happen and after a bunch of beers, and a reasonable amount of money, it did. so then there was this collection of songs that needed to be corralled onto a cd of some sort and a guy named Jamie from Ohio was nice enough to make that happen. but then life, liquor and laziness took its toll and the band was no more. people moved, some made babies, some make haircuts, but one thing will always remain: the memories of that digusting and dank practice space forever stinking of stale beer, cigarettes, sweat and some sort of cheese/foot odor. ahhhhh. oh yeah, we owe much to the also R.I.P.ed bands The Marvels and The Action. cheers.
