Band Members: John moved to Nashville in 2001 from his home town of Phoenix, AZ to pursue his dream of becoming a professional songwriter. Just three years later in early 2004 that dream would come true. He signed with hit songwriter and publisher Roger Murrah, (Murrah Music) who wrote Don't Rock The Juke Box, Goodbye time, I'm In A Hurry, and many, many more. After their first meeting, Roger offered a publishing deal to John, which he humbly accepted. For the next 2 years John worked relentlessly to hone his craft and in April of 2005 those efforts would pay off with his First cut! The band "Lonestar" recorded "What She Had To" on their album "Mountains". A gripping song that John wrote with long time friend and producer/singer-songwriter Garrett Parris about his mother's struggle to free herself, John, and his brothers from an abusive marriage. In 2007 John signed with Magic Mustang Music where he continues to grow and is gaining the respect of his peers in the industry. It wont be long untill his songs start showing up on records and the charts!..
