Well hello, welcome to My bit, If u know me, u'll already know i'm just all about the music. I grew up in Heybrige (Maldon), in essex, went to The Plume School up in town, when i was 12 i moved into a tiny village about 5 or 6 miles away called Tolleshunt Major. There was so little to do apart from eventually gettin pissed up in the park, i started to knuckle down on me guitar and never looked back! Bloody good job too cos it looks like there maybe, just maybe a future in music for me!! I started playing bands when i was still at school but only really got serious after all that. Tried a band, didn't work! Tried another, didn't work!! I eventually landed up with a bunch of guys who actually had a bit of drive and the commitment and Cousin Joey was born. We started off as a mettalica-esque, all the normal covers type of band, but soon progressed into just writing better and better songs by the day! Over the 6 years we were together, the sound changed a bit, the line ups changed alot, (mostly the bassist), but the passion was always there. Then one day roughly 2 years ago someone (No names... The bassist again!) decided it's NOT the way he wants to see he life headin! Then, our drummer brought this to our attention about him also just afterwards, so we all decided there and then, we were gonna split for good. I moped about for a bit, (as u do, u'l know if ya in a band, it's like breakin up with ya girl.. but different) but soon decided i just wanted to get back to playin, and luckily enough, my good local friends Zen Motel were looking an extra guitar for their 3 piece. So i spoke with Lee and arranged an audition. I think it all went well because here we are 2(ish) years later, 1 (hell of a) tour, 1 album down, which has now been released over here and in Japan and were still goin strong, so it all looking good on that side o things at the mo! i'l keep ya posted! ~;@p
