Hot Freaks

Hot Freaks, Guided By Voices tribute band par drunkellence, convened in 2004 to play a Jeopardy! watch party for the rhythm guitarist. He got his wife to sing and his buddies to drum and play the lead guitar. We are now on our fifth bassist, an amazing fact when you remember we've played only two shows. We've played 30 or so GBV tunes, mainly off the Triumvirate, but some good obscurer ones as well. We're gonna practice soon and we don't want to violate the "It's not a real band if it's not on MySpace" law for fear of punishment. If you're an Okie with a backyard, beer and a party, we'll rock you. If you need a band to sing along with, we'll give you the melody.
