INFLUENCES: Donna Summer has always been my favorite disco artist. Her disco music will always be alive in my heart because it became a part of my life. I remember walking by the record shops in New Jersey where I grew up. I would often stop and stared at her albums displayed on the windows; I thought to myself, “If I could only look like her.” When I turned 25 years old, people started telling me that I looked like Donna Summer. I never took it seriously and didn’t even see any resemblance. The comments never stopped; is a matter of fact, for years people would tell me how much I looked like her. Being compared to the Queen of Disco gave me a new level of confidence. It’s what ultimately drove me to create a tribute act. This page is also dedicated to Donna Summer.
