Jerelle Steed, also known as "Rell G", was born in Charleston, South Carolina on August 9, 1984. He is the youngest in a family of five with two brothers and two sisters.As a youth, "Rell G" attended an art-magnet school in Charleston. That is when his creative abilities began to emmerge. His major area of study was visual arts; but he also began to develop a taste for music. At that time, "Rell G" was influenced by Rap music. Up to the present time he has directed his energy to Rap.Similiarily to other young musicians, "Rell G's" lyrics are derived through personal experiences in his journey through life. Sometimes not portraying a pretty picture but reflective of difficult situations. "Rell G's" work has been influenced by some of the pioneers in Rap such as Tupac, Biggie Smalls, UGK, etc.. ."Rell G" opened for his first major concert tour called "The Street Ballers Tour" in Charleston, SC. This event featured artists like Fifty Cent, Master P, Petty Pablo,Chopper, and his friend, an underground artist, Geezus M Jones. "Rell G" has also performed at several events in Charleston and Atlanta. Unlike others, "Rell G" stands out with his distinct swagger and format. He believes that his ambition, motivation and love for lyrical music will soon put him in the fore-front of the music industry. "Rell G" currently lives in Riverdale, Georgia.
