DRIVENFEAR ara a young, upcoming fast-hardcore/punk band hailing from the streets of 4207. Critics can not place a certain genre to DRIVENFEAR!'s sound - labelled as Hardcore... sometimes labelled punk... other times old school revival... but mostly all anyone can do is make up irrelevant sub-genres and completely miss the purpose altogether.
DRIVENFEAR!'s mission is not to find a genre to fit into and hide behind, but to unite the original ideals and meaning of the hardcore movement as it was, with the kids of today. Bring together all the people with similar tastes in music, people who have social and political consciences and give them the power to make a scene and create a movement and be heard.
DRIVENFEAR!'s reputation has become prominent through their utter passion for the music they make and the beliefs that they voice. Lyrically concentrating on world issues and the 'day to day' bullshit that effects us all.
Influenced by punk and hardcore mainstays such as Sick Of It All, Good Riddance, Comeback Kid, Bad Religion, Mad Ball, Raised Fist, and all the ozzie hardcore bands out there keepin it real and keepin it alive.
