DEADMARCH

About Me

Deadmarch can be seen as the embryonic version of The Project Hate MCMXCIX. Just like The Project Hate MCMXCIX, Deadmarch is Lord K. Philipsons (formerly Leukemia, House of Usher, Odyssey) brainchild. Lord K. Philipsons recorded back in 1998 the Deadmarch album ' The Project Hate MCMXCIX: Initiation of blasphemy' with Tomas Skogsberg at the famous Sunlight Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
Shortly after the recordings of the The Project Hate MCMXCIX: Initiation of blasphemy album, Philipson moved on and formed The Project Hate MCMXCIX with his long time comrade Jörgen Sandström (well known for his vocals in death metal legends' Grave, on their first three classic albums, as well as handling the bass and backing vocal duties in Entombed for over a decade).
The initial plan was to re-record some of the vocal parts by Jörgen Sandström and release the Deadmarch album under the The Project Hate MCMXCIX moniker. Strangely Tomas Skogsberg of Sunlight Studios told Philipson the day before he was to enter the studio with TPH-vocalist Jörgen Sandström that he had lost the master tapes. So the Deadmarch album release was put on ice. The album has at least some backing vocals by Jörgen Sandström.
Anno 2007, Dan Swanö tipped off Vic records that The Project Hate MCMXCIX were looking for a new label as they had left Threeman recordings. The first outcome of the warm contacts between Lord K and Vic Records will be the release of the legendary Deadmarch album ' The Project Hate MCMXCIX: Initiation of blasphemy'.
Of course no-one else then Dan Swanö was asked to master the Deadmarch album at Unisound, Sweden. And so he did early 2007.
Finally a short statement of Lord K. about Deadmarch: 'This is what made me form The Project Hate MCMXCIX, it is the initiation of the blasphemy from where we came. Now it will be YOUR initiation to the blasphemy that nowadays is The Project Hate MCMXCIX', on behalf of The Project Hate MCMXCIX, Lord K.
