This summer Logo and writer/director Q. Allan Brocka welcome you to the gayest gay ghetto of them all: West Lahunga Beach! This trendy neighborhood with its own time zone is where Rick and Steve make their fabulous double-income-no-children home. The insults fly, nothing goes unspoken, and the ugly, bitter truth about domestic bliss never looked so sweet.
Rick and Steve have been LTR-ing it for nearly seven years and live with their sometimes magical cat, Pussy. They're finding out the seven year itch rule can apply to gays as well.
Kirsten and her grumpy wife Dana have cohabitated for three drama-filled yet satisfying years. Kirsten’s lifelong friend Rick is her first choice to father their child. The only catch is, Dana and Steve are mortal enemies.
Steve’s best friend and bad influence is Chuck, bitter, outspoken 50, HIV positive and confined to a wheelchair. Chuck’s partner of four years is Evan, a feisty 19 year-old club kid who never sleeps.
Despite their differences, these three couples are there for each other through ugly and uglier. Though they may bicker and bite and cheat and assassinate character and sometimes attempt manslaughter, at the end of the day, they’re still family. And that makes surviving in the cute, plastic, and unforgiving world of West Lahunga Beach a little bit easier.
