I began singing in church with family members and friends from the age of six and continued singing in school, county fairs and various music projects. I was the lead singer of The Bubble Gum Machine from fall 1996 through December of 2001.
After returning to and completing college, I began to play guitar and gain some experience performing solo. Spring 2007 I returned to public performance with Tree House Tea Party. James Reed or Rich Schuler, add afro-beat percussion for original music as well as contributing to worship settings. The new Cd "Have some love and hope and let it show" are available for purchase for $8.00. Drop me a line if you'd like one!
..
Fall 2007, we began performing songs that I had written at charity events, coffee houses and various venues. It is our hope to share music and stories that engage, connect and bring light and joy to the ears and hearts of diverse audiences.
Tara Lamont Music is currently composed of: Tara Eastman as singer songwriter and on acoustic guitar and James Reed or Rich Schuler on percussion.
