Well, Here's a little bit about me:
I started playing praise and worship music while I was a youth leader at my church and at various Bible studies, when I had the chance. I dabbled with writing a little bit, but wasn't too serious about it until 2003. I wrote a song called "So Beautiful" and played it at the youth camp that my church does every year. Much to my surprise, everyone loved it. So, I began to focus a little more on writing. I would write a song here and a song there, and eventually I had enough to consider recording a CD. I decided to do it, and the rest is history.
Thus far, my songwriting has had two main goals. The first goal is to draw people closer to Christ through worship. I believe the meaning of life is simply to know Jesus. Worship is a way of coming closer to Him. The second goal is to express a spiritual principle. I have a heart to see Christians become who God has called them to be. A good example would be the song "One Body". There has been a lot of division in the church over the years, and it causes us to live far below what God has called us to. Thankfully, things seem to have improved in recent years. Perhaps this song could fuel the fire a bit, and bring the church back to its true focus: Loving Christ and loving others.
