I made it back from Africa with no major bumps along the way. I was able to pick out some of the best pictures from the 3,000 that my friend Miranda and I took. We saw 4 of the "big five" - lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo (we missed the leopard). My favorite part had to have been the giant group of elephants that crossed the road in front of us at the Tarangire National Park or the 4 young, male lions that we saw near the entrance of the Serengeti National Park.
It was the trip of a lifetime, so I plan on going back.
I have decided there's no reason a person shouldn't see as much of the world as possible.
Next stop...Ireland in 2009!
