I live in a new development of townhouses on a quiet cul de sac near Columbia, South Carolina, with my husband, the owner of DCS Internet Sales. He is also a part-time journalist, occasional radio host, and docent with Trinity Cathedral, the Columbia Museum, and the Historic Columbia Foundation. He loves golf and plays in a senior men's league.
My cat.....well, she likes hiding in paper bags, jumping on high shelves and windowsills, sitting in open windows, and taking baths with me.
I love to read and write poetry; many of my poems are found throughout my MySpace blog. I am a true animal lover, a workaholic who will never retire, and a confessed neat-freak.
I have two daughters, one living in Illinois and the other in South Carolina. My older daughter has two sons, Tommy and Robby, who are now six and seven.
My daughter Patty, is a preschool teacher at an Early Childhood Development Center. She is married, enjoys home decorating and baking, and, like her Mom, loves animals. Her husband, a deputy sheriff, is also a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserve and recently seved in Iraq.
