Women of Love & Faith was giving birth April of 2007 by Lakisha McClendon whom visions were to start an organization that cater to the needs of women. Her dreams are to sow the seeds of love and faith into women with the hopes of empowering them to make changes in their lives, as well as, the lives of others. All while building an everlasting fellowship with women from many different walks of life.Lakisha McClendon known as God~Us throughout the South Florida community is an Author, Advocate of Domestic Violence & Spoken Word Artist. She attends Miami Dade College, majoring in Business Administration. Lakisha enjoys writing, performing poetry at local open mic venues, empowering women and spending time with her family and friends. She has three beautiful sons, Rashad, Travis, and Lloyd. She has found a new passion for leading women to live their life with love and faith through her spoken words...her work has been known to be intense and emotional. It touches on some of the most heartfelt issues relating to relationships, domestic violence, and interpersonal struggles.
