About Me

I live in South London. I'm 17 in February, doing A-Levels (much fun!) Biology, English, Psychology and History. And, just to be interesting, Underwater Media which is scuba diving with cameras. At the moment I am trying to find a course that I can take at University. I was going to take English, but then decided against it and am trying to find something interesting instead. I work part-time in an Organic Supermarket, which is more fun then it sounds. I don't play any musical instruments, though after 3 years of forced music lessons, I can play a pathetic rendition of the Star Wars theme tune on a recorder.

My Interests

Interests? That is a really big subject to cover in a few sentences... but here goes. I like going to the cinema, hanging out with my 'mates', listening to music. I like creative writing e.g poems, prose, that type of stuff. Sketching is something I enjoy even though the product is usually nothing like the original subject... I love photography, which I'll admit I'm better at then drawing. I like reading and watching people play instruments. (Always wanted to learn how to play the drums or the guitar, but have given up on that and now settle for watching other people and listening to their music.) I like drama, though after the catastrophe that was drama GCSE I have been put off.

I'd like to meet:

Everybody. Then they could all wave and in one big voice cry out 'Hello!!' and then the world would explode because of the vibrations created from their voices. Boom. But failing that, I'd settle for Ben Elton, Alan Cumming and the little Britain people.

Music:

I like Marilyn Manson, Keane, Nickelback, Snow Patrol, Alkaline Trio, SR-71, The Rasmus, Green Day, Garbage, Scissor Sisters, Lost Prophets, Panic!, MCR, Evanessence, Kaiser Chiefs, The Used, Staind, Mark Owen... and oh, the list goes on.

Movies:

Lord of the Rings, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Star Wars movies (even though I think the last two episodes were a bit of a blip), Monsters Inc, Spirited Away, Howels Moving Castle, Shawshank Redeption, Jack, Forest Gump, Charie and the chocolate factory... I like most films to be honest, even the old black+white stuff like 'Rebecca' and 'It's a wonderful life' (shoot me now), apart from 'Sideways' which bored the hell out of me.

Television:

I like watching things like... Have I got News for you, Mock the week, Little Britain, Doctor Who, The Simpsons, GREEN WING, Life on mars, David Attenborough type things and, *is ashamed* Torchwood, Neighbours and Casualty.

Books:

I read anything. As long as it has a decent plot line and it's not too mushy, it's fine by me.

Heroes:

My heros? I dont actually know which person I admire enough for them to be considered my hero. I adore Ben Elton. Hes amazing. He does stand up, he writes books and scripts and he makes political statements... but then I guess, a hero should be someone who helps a lot of people in the world. But in a way, one of his books can make a boring lesson go a hell of a lot faster and he provides laughter. Laughter is something which there is never enough of.
