Heaven Ablaze is a melodic death metal band hailing from London, Ontario, Canada. The band was forged in early 2003 by guitarist Derek Haley, bassist Jeremy Walsh and drummer Jeff Wood. Since it's inception, vocalist Derek Lee and guitarist Pat Davison have been added to the roster to form the tight, savage line up you hear today.Their unique style of death metal incorporates aspects from their early influences, while still staying true to their vision and never compromising their brutality. Heaven Ablaze have recorded three full length albums... all proudly completed independently. With their new album Proclamation Armageddon fresh off the press...this young, ambitious, and dedicated band show no signs of slowing down. The band will continue to set the stage ablaze where ever possible in support of their new release, which has been highly regarded as their best effort to date. With their newest line up, Heaven Ablaze is stronger now that ever before... and continue to step up every aspect of their musicianship to form the unique sound they have claimed their own.

With their seemingly endless arsenal of brutal riffs and catchy licks... along with their devotion to continually improving their skills and supporting their local peer's, Heaven Ablaze have secured their position as one of Canada's leading underground metal acts. CHRONOLOGY
Early 2003
- Heaven Ablaze is formed with the original line up, Derek Haley, Jeremy Walsh, Jeff Wood, Mike Grund and Conan Bulani.
Fall of 2004
- Heaven Ablaze set out to record their first album Enlightened By Darkness. The project was recorded, produced and engineered by Rainer Weichmann of Mole Studios in London. The album was later released in early 2005.
April of 2005
-Set out on Ontario mini tour to support album. -Many local Canadian dates played.
Early 2006
- The band entered the studio once again to record their next sophomore release, Reborn Through Evil. The project was recorded, engineered and mixed with J.F. Dagenais of Kataklysm fame in Montreal, Quebec. The drums were recorded at Montreal's Victor Studios, guitars, bass and vocals were later recorded at JFD Studios. Mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. (Alan was well known for his work with Shadows Fall, God Forbid and Sepultura.)
June of 2006
- Conan Bulani leave's the band and moves out west.
July 2006
- Derek "Bruce" Lee (former Eschatus Vocalist) is recruited for vocal duties - First show was supporting Strapping Young Lad.
Late 2006
- Many local shows and metal festivals played through out Ontario/Quebec.
January 2007
- Limited copies of Reborn Through Evil released. -Massive amounts of gig's booked.
Mid-Late 2007
- Heaven Ablaze writes a huge portion of Proclamation Armageddon. -Books studio time
Late 2007 - Early 2008
-Band enters the studio for third album - Derek Lee's highly anticipated debut. -Mike Grund leaves band during recording process. -Pat Davison joins Heaven Ablaze and replaces Mike on guitar.
January - August 2008
-Countless gigs played displaying new line up and new material. -All recording completed for Proclamation, artwork created. -never ending writing process continues - new material written with Pat Davison.
September 2008
-Proclamation Armageddon CD Release Party - Album recorded and mixed at Mind Scape Studio's in London Ontario by Nigel Curly of Excruciating Thoughts. Art work created by Tim Boughton @ Dissonance Studios. Mastered in california by Colin Davis @ Imperial Mastering. -Many interviews conducted in support of album. -Mini tour with Archon Legion from Victoria B.C.
The band continues to write new material and will continue to shred the stage in support of Proclamation Armageddon. Come'on out, party and help create the on-going history of Heaven Ablaze!
