It was about love for roots music the band Hoedown was founded in 2001. A musical community playing country, blues & rock was born and felt a burning desire to play and share the joy with the audience.
The first time the band played together was in Helsinki at the Taidehalli Gallery in Autumn 2002. The killer groove of the band drew the crowds, and the musicians heard it through the grapevine.
