I was born and raised in Marianna, Arkansas. I currently resides in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am a Commercial Artist who works all over the world.
I have 13 years of experience as a professional artist, working as a freelance artist and full-time employee for some of the largest sign and indoor/outdoor advertising companies within the U.S. I have traveled and worked throughout the U.S. and six foreign countries like
Panama, Costa Rica, The United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Honduras and Thailand. As a portrait artist, I have produced artwork for many celebrities, politicians, public figures, etc. I have also participated in numerous art festivals and exhibits within the U.S. and other countries. My journey as a artist began when I was 5 years old attending Whitten Elementary School in Marianna, Arkansas.
My mother was working there as a teacher's aid and the teachers and faculty members there recognized my talent and advised me to enter numerous art contest throughout the state and country. I won my first contest while I was in kindergarden and I have been wanting to be an artist ever since. I love to draw and paint so much, I would rather do artwork in class instead of doing my school work. I learned a lesson from that, Silly me, I flunked the 8th grade three years straight. Although I was often teased by a few of my peers, I was also encouraged by others to take my education serious because I have a chance to pursue my dreams if I can just work hard. And they were right. While I was a student at Lee High School during my eleventh grade year, I won a Commercial Art Scholarship, awarded by the Arkansas State Board of Education. I graduated from high school in 1994.
One week after graduating from high school, I attended classes at Remington College in Little Rock, Arkansas where I received a AAS Degree in Commercial Art in 1996. Soon after I graduated, my career took off. I eventually attended Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. On December 3, 2008, I have graduated from C-1 Truck Driving Training in North Little Rock, Arkansas to become a Professional Truck Driver. As far as my life goes, I am thankful to Almighty God for guiding me through the storms. Because without his guidance, my success would not exist. I describe my life as being full of adventures with more adventures to come. I am a firm believer that hard work leads to greatness.
