In 1997, in the town of Abrantes, Edenial Lust were formed by:Luis- Vocals
Lecas - Guitar
Tania - Keyboards
Hugo - Drums
Quim - Bass.The band played death/gothic metal and were influenced by other bands such as
Crematory, My Dying Bride, Anathema and so on.In late 1998, issues started to come up within the band, and the fact that
Geist, a new guitarist, had then joined, kept the band together.
In late 2000, a new project is started without the previous vocalist, and in
which Geist has a predominant function and influence. That project was named
Congruity aims to create a particularly aggressive sound, where
Death/Black metal references can be easily spotted in all the band members
personal tastes. In 2001, the first 3-track demo, Equilibrium, is recorded.
In 2002 Victor joins the band to replace previous bassist Quim, and the band record their 2nd demo untitled The Underworld and give some gigs.
In middle 2003 Tania leaves the band, which resulted with an even more
aggressive sound due to the lack of keyboards.
In 2004 Jorge enter as second guitar player and Lecas dedicates only to Vox and in 2005 Congruity record their 3rd demo untitled Rupture.
With almost 50 gigs all over Portugal , Congruity his ready for attack. ..m/
Currently the band is recording their first album,in the band studios witch will be released around May/April...Stay tuned.Congruity line-up:
