Retired nurse, mother to 5children and 2 stepchildren (yes, 7 in all!), Grandmother to 34 (yes, 34!step and blood kin),trying to accept the changes in this electronic age, dealing with several health issues that have made it necessary to retire from a career that I love, working thru personal issues as I try to age with dignity, choosing to be spiritual and as honest as possible in a world that is detrimental to honest conviction and a belief in spiritual well-being, a poet and well-read in a constant quest for knowledge, a cultivator of sensitivity and compassion in a world that needs it so much,a wife to my soul-mate and husband for 30 years, always remembering the pain and challenge of prior failed relationships so that I can continue to grow and nurture others that may need a hand up in this scrambled time of the 21st century, a surviver fo two near-death experiences that have made me more aware of what I was born to do in this life,a spirit-filled Christian always trying to let the Holy Spirit guide my life.
