Well, the summer is drawing to an abrupt close. I am spending the latter part of it talking to angry people on the phone and trying not to swear or throw biros at the wall whilst they are still on the line. I am not looking forward to having a dissertation to write on my return to uni. In a way it makes me glad I will probably never pass my driving test, because if I could drive, I may well take myself on a year-long road trip rather than ever attempting to graduate. Considering the fact that before in my mum's car my dad observed that a light does not come on when the petrol is low, and I responded by saying - how would you know to fill your petrol up if you were blind? - I think it is safe to say we will be waiting a while until I am legally behind any wheels. Or until I develop the ability to think before I speak, for that matter.
