Bored, I started listening to my mama's Rick James and Confunction albums. The beat started, my head bobed to the beat, and next thing I know I was spitting lyrics into a tape recorder. Played it back and went into the abyse! It was the first time I ever heard myself being recorded. From that day forward music has ruled my world.
