About Me
Oh... what to say. Hmmmmm...... I like Dr. Pepper. More? Ok, I built Rose Parade Floats for 6 years in Pasadena, drove a chemical delivery truck out of Alhambra for several years and survived (if you're a SoCal local you will understand the mathematical improbability), worked in a machine shop making dental braces, and worked pit crew for a class 8 off road truck for awhile. Mopar or no car, if you don't know what this means don't bother asking. I am a member of the CPW car club here in SoCal (Chrysler Performance West). I buy/sell/collect/restore/trade classic Japanese motorcycles and parts from 1959 to 1979 for a living (beats having a 9 to 5, been there-done that). I'm also a member of several classic motorcycle clubs here in the LA area. I own a '69 Harley XLCH but rarely have the time to ride it. I have been a heavy weapons fighter in the SCA for 18+ years and still find the time to armor up and crack people with sticks every chance I get. When not on the computer selling vintage motorcycle parts to folk in Europe, or out scrounging wrecking yards for parts to complete the restoration of my 1970 Dodge Coronet Police car, I'm a full time stay at home father... BEST job ever! All my friends are psycopaths, sexual deviants, drunks and/or fuq-ups and that's the way I like it, normal people suck. I don't fly, if there is anyplace on Earth that can't be reached by car, train, boat, horse, or walking... I just don't need to go there. Many of my life long goals I have already achieved, like destroying a rental car while on a road trip to Oregon, drinking myself temporarily colorblind in Baja after driving my truck into the ocean (did you know beer is cheaper then Pepsi down there?), cartwheeling a Honda CR480 down a rock strewn sandwash at 60mph then laying in a broken heap for 2 hours waiting to die (again, another mathematical improbality I survived), riding a 40 year old Honda 90cc through Death Valley and back- 450 miles in two days at a blistering top speed of 39mph, I own my own home in SoCal, and have two strong healthy sons. My big list of things to do is getting small. Maybe it's time for that trip to Amsterdam, by boat of course.
