I'm just a good-natured guy who plays bass, lives life and makes ends meet......I consider myself extremely fortunate to have my friends and musicians I've played with over the years... I've played with such bands as The Jack Biggins Quartet, Dirty Moose Shooter, Vegas, Neer Miss, The Breakaways, Going Nowhere, and a BUNCH of rock/metal bands- most of which I can't remember or am too ashamed to mention... you may have even seen me playing with the Riverzedge Church band "Theatre 12"... In my free time, I work at a real job, selling guitars and drums at Flood Music in beautiful downtown Sioux City....(wait! Flood Music closed, and I'm currently on hiatus, utilizing my summertime to catch up on house repairs and improvements... check my pics page... My real name is Ritchie Howard, and I know that you're thinking......"Hey! it's Shawn Cassidy! or "Hey! It's Leif Garrett!"....... just because I happen to favor that soft rock 70's teen heart throb look.... well, let me just say that I was a young lad during the 70's, and THE ENTIRE WORLD WAS A BETTER PLACE BACK THEN!! The sky was bluer, the grass was greener, and the sun was yellower. Even the dirt was more plentiful and dirty...There were muscle cars until gas went up to a dollar a gallon, you could buy a brand new Jeep CJ5 for under $6,000, kids'toys were dangerous, and Fender basses were, well, pretty inconsistent.... that wasn't a very good time for that! Luckily, I wasn't playing bass at that young age! But, I was a fan of music, and there were no songs filled with hate or aggression- every pop song coming out of the tiny little radio was awesome...
