Justin and Jason were born in Houston in 1988, J2 started entertaining audiences at the age of 4. From musical theatre to singing in the church choir to local talent shows, They were naturals. Their grandmother purchased an inexpensive keyboard, which not only developed there skills on piano, but developed there ears to hear complex harmonies at an early age. Soon after, together they attended Broadway Bound School of Performing Arts. It was there they received training in voice, acting, tap, and jazz. From age 12 they began attaining many awards at the state level, including one, which is there favorite memory, naming them, the first freshmen in their high school to receive a superior rating for a vocal competition. Although Jason and Justin enjoy various musical styles, they prefer singing R&B. J2 has performed live on various occasions on cable television. J2 also performed gigs throughout the Houston area. Now, J2 is an upcoming R&B/Pop group with a strong force in the music industry. Among being superior vocal recording Artist, other musical skills J2 possess' are songwriting/producing/vocal arranging. These talents allow them to make highly innovative music and also give them the full ability to express themselves as R&B artist's. After a stint at the world renown, “Berklee College of Music,†J2 is making music on their own. J2 is destined to Rock the Industry.
