Hi i'm myrtle the turtle,i am 23 years old and live at the national sealife centre in birmingham. I was hatched out off an egg on a beach on the coast of Mexico. the first few years was very dangerous as there were loads of animals that could have eaten me but thankfully they didn't. After many years of swimming all over the world and getting up to no good I decided to go and visit my cousins Gulliver and Molokai at the centre. When i arrived there everyone was soo friendly so i decided to stay. So now i live and work there. I come out during the holidays and entertain people in and around the centre. The only thing is that i cannot talk so i just dance, hug, shake hands and steal peoples hats so be careful if you come and visit wearing a hat. I have lots of friends there including Lyndsey, Lewis, Sarah, Dani, Em, Kerrie and many more.
