Christ Community Evangelistic Church

About Me

Reverend John Dingle is the pastor of Christ Community Evangelistic Church of Willingboro, New Jersey. He started this church in December of 1994, but has been active in Christian service since the age of fourteen. He accepted Christ at the early age of fifteen, began preaching at the age of seventeen, and was licensed as an evangelist at nineteen. Since receiving Christ, Reverend Dingle has served at various churches in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. He has served as Sunday School teacher, Bible School teacher, Youth Leader, Youth Pastor, Choir member, Assistant Pastor, and now Pastor. He was ordain in 1994 and appointed assistant pastor of the Deliverance Evangelistic Church of Burlington County New Jersey.Reverend Dingle was educated in the Philadelphia school system. He graduated from Overbook High School in 1974, and afterwards attended Temple University and Drexel University where he studied Mechanical Engineering. He has worked in the field of prototype and product design for the General Electric Company in Philadelphia, R.C.A in Moorestown New Jersey, and Westinghouse Electric Power Generation in many states around the country. Because of his higher calling he has studied at the Deliverance Bible Institute and many other biblical seminars and retreats. Most of his biblical training though, has come from sitting under the ministries of Rev. Benjamin Smith, the late Founder and Pastor of the Deliverance Evangelistic Church of Philadelphia.Reverend Dingle affectionately known as “Bro. Johnny”, “Rev. Dingle” and “Pastor” has a ministry for the whole family. His church is an active church in both worship services and community services. His church addresses the needs of its entire congregation by providing services and meetings for women, men, youth, and children. He also has a heart for his community. He has worked with the recreation department in Willingboro as a coach in T-ball and basketball. He is also a founding member of KEEP (Kids Enhancement Encouragement Program). This program was designed to address the problem of young people in Willingboro not having a safe, supervised and positive place to gather for social and recreational activities. His church has been active with the Juvenile Justice Commission since 1999. In October of 1999, the church became a host church for the graduating cadets from the Wharton Tract Boot Camp in Tabernacle NJ. Rev. Dingle became further involve with the Juvenile Justice Commission by volunteering as a mentor for the boot camp graduates. To better serve these young men, Rev. Dingle concentrated primarily on the cadets released to the Camden region. He designed and now implements a group mentoring session each Tuesday evening in Camden City. He has established program outlines for Saturday religious services and motivational group meetings at the Wharton Tract Boot Camp. He has established and staffed with female volunteers from his church, a group-mentoring program for the Valentine Unit, which is a juvenile facility for girls. And recently with male volunteers from his church, started a similar program at the Hayes Unit, a readjustment unit for parole violators. He was a member of the Restorative Justice Advisory Board of the state of New Jersey. He sits on the Camden County Community Core group, and is honorary chairman of the Camden County JJC Aftercare and Mentoring program. Rev. Dingle is also very active in getting other churches to see the need and get involved with community programs. He believes strongly that the problems of our communities will only be addressed successfully when the churches take the lead position and point people to Christ.Rev. Dingle resides in Willingboro NJ with his wife Sandra, his twin sons, John and Joseph, and his niece April. His daughter Chanita is married, and along with her husband, Cary, leads the church’s youth department. On Friday May 30, 1997 Daniel Schweikert, a writer who lives directly across the street from Rev. Dingle, wrote an article in the Burlington County Times. A quote from this article best describes Rev. Dingle; “John Dingle doesn’t just preach the word; he lives it and it is part and parcel of his life. John Dingle: dedicated Husband, loving parent, great neighbor, good shepherd.” Paster John Dingle
