Space Messengers was formed in 2005 by musicians who felt the urge to express their creativity. In this project everything is improvised on the spot. The band will take their listeners from jazz to fusion to ambient, trip hop, lounge and more.Number 9 (Stefan Bruinsma) takes the role as the guitar player, live DJ with laptop and sometimes as the MC. Combined with the drums and percussion of Peter Sprengers, the keys and grooves of Peter Schütz and the bas with FX of Sjoerd van Helmond this group brings instrumental diversity on a new level ready to be explored.
It is never certain what to expect because it all depends on the energy of the crowd and the forces surrounding them. All that is known, is a musical journey on which the Space Messengers will take you along and beyond.
